WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR TRANSPORTATION SERVICES?

MYCAP makes free transportation services available to elderly, physically challenged and low-income Mahoning County residents, with priority given to the elderly. You will also have to provide proof of income in order to be considered for these services.


WHAT KIND OF TRANSPORATION SERVICES ARE AVAILABLE?

Elderly and/or physically challenged residents may be provided door-to-door van transporation to medical appointments, appointments with other social service agencies, and limited grocery shopping. This service operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Children enrolled in the Head Start or Early Head Start programs receive free bus transportation every day. This service operates Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.


HOW CAN I SCHEDULE FREE TRANSPORTATION?

All requests for transportation services must be made at least 48 hours in advance. Proof of income must also be provided. Call (330) 747-0271 for an appointment.
